Deputy General Counsel - Contracts/Corp. Counseling

Job TitleThis position requires a Juris Doctor degree, admission to the Illinois Bar, General Bar of Northern District of Illinois and a minimum of ten (10) years experience of handling government procurement and contracts and five (5) years of supervisory experience. Candidate must possess an extensive knowledge of government procurement and contracting. Must be knowledgeable about the Illinois Open Meetings Act and corporate governance.

Excellent analytical skills, writing and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and legal research skills are required. Excellent management skills essential to supervise staff and manage complex contract and other issues.
