The City of Homer is seeking a Full-Time Deputy Fire Chief to lead and coordinate fire and rescue operations, personnel, and training at the Homer Fire Department.
Requirements include eight years of emergency services experience with at least three years at Captain or higher, NFPA Firefighter II certification, EMS experience, and enrollment in the NFPA Executive Fire Officer Program. Residency within 15 minutes of Fire Station 1 is required.
