The Deputy Director, NASA Engineer and Safety Center (NESC) serves as a principal leader sharing executive responsibility for strategic planning, management, and execution of engineering assessments to support Agency missions.
He or she directs independent engineering evaluations, leads a multidisciplinary workforce, and exercises delegated authority to ensure continuity of operations and informed decision-making across NASA programs and facilities.
