The State of Colorado/Department of Personnel & Administration is looking for a Deputy Risk Manager . This position acts as Deputy to the Director and oversees the self-insured liability program which includes; oversight of the state Insurance broker, negotiates settlement of litigated liability claims and lawsuits, manages contracts for the overall department, authorizes payments for losses and services, manages outside counsel assignments and activities, monitors Medicare compliance and bodily injury claims’ management, manages collections of fees/costs owed to State, and provides risk management and insurance consulting services to alt members of the Risk Management Pool.
