Deputy Chief Financial OfficerThe Deputy Chief Financial Officer is a critical leadership role that directly affects the district's ability to implement financial services administration successfully.
The role provides leadership to support directors within the Finance division and executive leadership across the organization to develop and implement policies and procedures for coordinating and providing system leadership in support of the Chief Financial Officer. Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.Minimum Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited university or college is required; Master's degree preferred. Certificate/License: Texas Association of School Business Official (RTSBA) certification or CPA certification preferred.
Experience: Five (5) to seven (7) years of successful progressive experience in management of fiscal operations is required; Prior leadership of multiple business or finance teams in a complex public-sector or K-12 environment is preferred.
