Deputy Chief Administrative Law JudgeThe Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Deputy Chief Administrative Law Judge. Subject to management approval, this position will serve as second-in-command of the Administrative Hearings Unit and will direct, evaluate, and monitor the activities of attorneys engaged in administrative hearings and reviews on a variety of child welfare, child protection, and licensing issues. This position establishes and maintains systems for receiving and docketing hearing requests, assigning and scheduling hearings, and reporting hearing officers' recommendations to the Chief Administrative Law Judge and the Director.
