Deposit Operations Specialist IIThe Deposit Operations Specialist II supports complex deposit operations functions to ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery. This role requires advanced operational expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and subject matter knowledge in designated focus areas such as Deposit Escrow, IRA/HSA, and Abandoned Property. This position contributes to operational excellence by maintaining data integrity, supporting audits and reporting, providing guidance to internal teams, and identifying opportunities for process improvement while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.ResponsibilitiesDeposit Operations Execution and OversightPerform complex deposit operations with accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detailSupport audits, reporting, and documentation efforts across assigned functionsRegulatory Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and IRS guidelines for assigned productsManage due diligence, escheatment processes, and legal or regulatory inquiries as applicableProduct and Subject Matter SupportServe as a resource for specialized products including escrow, IRA/HSA, IOLA/IOLTA, and abandoned propertyProvide guidance and technical assistance to branches, call centers, and internal partnersTraining, Documentation, and CollaborationDevelop and maintain procedures, training materials, and reference documentationPartner with IT, Marketing, Legal, Audit, and other internal teams on system updates, testing, and initiativesProcess Improvement and Quality AssuranceIdentify process gaps, recommend enhancements, and support implementation of operationalQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a business-related field preferredMinimum of three years of banking or relevant financial services operations experience, with demonstrated proficiency in deposit operationsAdvanced knowledge of account maintenance, regulatory requirements, and complex operational processesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and professional communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and core banking systemsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environmentCommitment to accuracy, quality, and exceptional internal and external client support.
