The role also supports process improvement, operations projects, and the design and maintenance of policies and procedures. This position will maintain subject matter expertise in the Deposit and EFT (electronic funds transfer) programs.The ideal candidate must be competent and able to learn quickly, be highly detail oriented, and be comfortable working with many different systems. The successful candidate will have worked in a financial institution setting, primarily in back-office transaction processing.This person will also possess strong analytical skills to not only document, but to evaluate and recommend changes to processes, workflows, and procedures to drive productivity and efficiency. Additionally, familiarity with AI-powered automation tools and process optimization technologies is highly valued.
The role offers opportunities to leverage emerging technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA) and AI-assisted decision support systems to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.What You Bring to the TeamBachelor's Degree or minimum of two to four years of back-office transaction and dispute processing experience. Credit Union or banking related experience a requirement.Must be a Notary or become a Notary within 60 days of hire.Familiarity with AI-assisted decision support systems and their application in financial operations preferred. Ability to identify automation opportunities and develop business cases for AI assisted implementation.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations governing transactional processing procedures within a financial institution.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
