Deployment Technician

🚀 We’re hiring: Desktop / Deployment Technician

Baltimore / Owings Mills, MD | 12-month contract, with possible extension

Are you a hands-on IT technician who enjoys getting devices deployment-ready and solving problems before they reach the end user? Join a fast-paced team supporting laptop builds, hardware refreshes, new-hire setups, and virtual desktop readiness.

What you’ll do

• Image, configure, reimage, and prepare Windows 11 laptops, desktops, and virtual devices
• Run detailed quality checks on Microsoft 365, OneDrive, BitLocker, Zscaler, drivers, network connectivity, and security tools
• Support new-hire deployments, hardware refreshes, emergency replacements, and larger rollout projects
• Track device assignments, status, ownership, and work notes in ServiceNow
• Coordinate with Asset Management, Desktop Support, workstation engineering, and onsite and remote teams
• Install standard and specialized software and support VDI, Windows 365, and Windows upgrades

What we’re looking for

• Experience imaging, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows devices
• Familiarity with tools such as Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, or Company Portal
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, OneDrive, BitLocker, Zscaler, endpoint security, and wired/wireless connectivity
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills
• ServiceNow, Excel, and large-scale rollout experience are a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Training on build standards and deployment procedures will be provided. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and ready to keep deployments moving when priorities shift.
