Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology at Emory University School of Medicine seeks a pain medicine board‑eligible/board‑certified physician to join the Emory University Hospital Midtown Pain Division.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients in clinic for chronic pain of varying etiologies.
  • Perform interventional procedures for chronic pain at the ambulatory surgery center and operating room.
  • Provide perioperative nerve blocks for the operating room.
  • Conduct inpatient consults for acute pain.
  • Teach anesthesiology residents and pain management fellows.
  • Participate in committee, leadership, and research opportunities.

Qualifications

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible to apply for a medical license in the state of Georgia.
  • American Board of Anesthesiology board certified/eligible.
  • Fellowship in Pain Medicine.
  • Excellent clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity.
