Department Manager

Department Manager – $19.75/hour

Job Overview – This position is for a department manager in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the employer and handles all employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts each week, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly customer service.
• Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results.
• Ensure Crew and Managers deliver great customer experience and execute sales promotions.
• Oversee Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas for optimal service.
• Ensure high‑quality food delivery, food safety, cost control, and proper training of kitchen staff.
• Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew to meet sales and profit goals.
• Motivate crew, recognize performance, and support their professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
