Salary: $18.00 – $27.40 per hour

Department Manager Responsibilities
- General Oversight
- Assist the General Manager in overall restaurant operations.
- Supervise all food and beverage departments on a shift‑by‑shift basis.
- Ensure a safe environment and improve profitability through revenue and labor management.
- Team Management
- Staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and ongoing development of department team members.
- Create schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
- Develop incentive programs, contests, and performance feedback.
- Administer merit increase process and performance management.
- Provide coaching, training, and guest experience management.
- Quality Operations
- Ensure adherence to new food and bar product rollouts.
- Maintain recipe adherence, portion control and inventory accuracy.
- Communicate opportunities and issues to the department and management team.
- Handle guest comments and quality complaints.
- Operate the department in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain equipment and report repairs.
- Sales and Profitability
- Manage overall food and beverage costs and labor results.
- Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Analyze P&L statements and create action plans for improvement.
- Implement sales building incentives and contests.
- Hospitality Management
- Assist the General Manager with local restaurant marketing.
- Implement sales incentives for the dining room service team.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
- Strong commitment to a fast‑paced environment with wings, beer, and sports.
- Team‑focused leadership and desire to develop a high‑performing team.
- Open availability, including late nights and weekends.
- Highly motivated, results‑driven, with strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and enforce company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license; satisfactory background check; ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.
