Department Manager

Description

Managers lead shifts and may also oversee department‑level responsibilities in areas such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. Each department manager is accountable for delivering a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience while maintaining operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned systems (Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), set goals, and delegate tasks.
• Follow up on tasks and report results to the team and other managers.
• For the Guest Service Department: ensure a great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train service staff in procedures, and keep Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized.
• For the Kitchen Department: ensure quality, safe food delivery, control food costs, and train kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items.
• For the People Department: hire qualified crew, provide training, schedule staff to meet sales and profit goals, and foster crew motivation and recognition.

Qualifications

• Preferred previous managerial experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule and a passion for a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
