Salary Range: $20.04 - $23.91 per hour

Overview

We are searching for a Department Manager to oversee the Heart of House, Bar, or Hospitality departments at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. The role requires strong leadership, operational management, and customer service skills within a fast‑paced sports‑themed environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned department (HOH, Bar, Hospitality) on a shift‑by‑shift basis.
• Oversee staffing, hiring, training, and development of department team members.
• Develop and maintain weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines.
• Administer performance management, including appraisals, merit increases, and coaching sessions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and company standards.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage cost controls for food, beverage, and labor.
• Use quality and guest experience programs (GEM, QSC, P&L) to analyze performance and implement corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with other department managers on hiring, scheduling, and incentive programs.
• Handle administrative functions such as invoices, end‑of‑day procedures, and equipment maintenance.
• Address guest comments and quality feedback promptly and effectively.
• Participate in local marketing, incentive contests, and sales‑building initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
• Preferred experience managing a full bar.
• High school education or equivalent; valid driver’s license required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and nights.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds and pass a satisfactory background check.
• Completion of the Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program (if applicable).
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer service abilities.
• Adherence to company policies and all regulatory requirements.
