Job Title
Certified Department Swing Manager – Starting pay $14 per hour.
Employment Context
The position is within a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer; McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts weekly, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly customer service.
- Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
- Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to team and other managers.
- Oversee department‑specific duties: Guest Service ensures excellent customer experience and promotes sales; Kitchen manages food quality, safety, cost control, and staff training; People Department handles hiring, training, scheduling and employee recognition.
- Ensure Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedule and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
