Department Manager

Overview

Our McDonald’s franchise is owned and operated by Boldt Family. We are hiring department managers (age 18 and older) to join our team. Starting pay has been raised to competitive wages, and we currently have 13 locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service.
• Manage assigned departments and systems—including Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management—by setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.
• Oversee the Guest Service Department to guarantee crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, execute sales promotions correctly, train service staff, and keep the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru organized.
• Ensure the Kitchen Department provides high‑quality food quickly, maintains safety, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures, including new menu items.
• Drive the People Department to hire qualified crew, train them, and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, while recognizing and motivating employees.
• Organize and support training programs, assist crew trainers, help recruit new crew members, and support shift leaders in training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
