Department Manager

Job Summary

We are hiring a Department Manager for our independently owned franchise. The role requires leading shift operations, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly customer experience, and overseeing department functions such as Guest Service, Kitchen, and People management.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned systems (Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), set goals, delegate tasks, and report results.
• Guest Service Department Manager: ensure crew and managers deliver great customer experience, manage promotions, train staff, and maintain front counter, McCafé, Drive‑Thru organization.
• Kitchen Department Manager: ensure quality food delivery, safety, cost control, and staff training on production procedures and new menu items.
• People Department Manager: hire qualified crew, train and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, recognize and motivate crew.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule and passion for fast‑paced environment.
