Job Description

This position is a Department Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and ensure a fast, accurate, friendly customer experience.
• Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to the team and senior management.
• Oversee the Guest Service Department: train staff, maintain service standards, and ensure effective promotions.
• Oversee the Kitchen Department: control food quality, safety, cost, and training for new menu items.
• Oversee the People Department: hire, train, and schedule qualified crew to meet sales and profit goals.
• Recognize and motivate crew, ensuring a positive start and sustained engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with flexible schedules.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Passion for working in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
