PURPOSE:To ensure the Department Manager clearly understands their responsibilities andaccountabilities.

REQUIREMENTS:Completions of Shift Supervisor MAPs, LT Certified, NJ ServeSafe/NY Food Handlers Certification.

Underthis description, the Department Manager:

• - Supportthe delegation of the responsibilities received by the restaurant manager inways which ensure excelled Operational excellence.
• - Assistswith personnel selection, training, scheduling, and supervising activities incompliance with all federal and state laws and with the standards of McDonald’sto develop a high degree of staff efficiency and teamwork.
• -Ensuresthat guests are served in a courteous, timely manner which results in theirsatisfaction and in an enhanced public image.
• - Maintainshigh food quality and attractive food appearance in accordance with McDonald’sspecifications, which results in the achievement of sales and cost controlobjectives.
• - Assistsin maintaining proper sanitation and cleanliness of the unit to fulfill healthrequirements and McDonald’s standards to enhance the dining atmosphere forguests.
• - Assistsin ordering inventory on a timely basis to ensure an adequate supply, but notoverstocked of products.
• -Assistsin maintaining records including daily sales and cash analysis, daily volumeand product purchase reports and other reports as requested.
• -Must strive to learn all operations of the unit.
• - Mustlearn and Operate thru our culture
• -Theymust want to develop themselves within our MAPS program. Be a leader in theirown development.

WorkingAbility

• -Mustbe able to stand 75% of time while performing job duties
• -Mustbe computer proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word
• -Mustbe able to communicate to direct report and supporting members of team
