Department Manager

Position Overview

Job Title: Department Manager – McDonald’s Corporate owned restaurant. You will oversee one or more departments (Guest Service, Kitchen, People) ensuring high quality customer experience, profitable operation, and employee development. The role supports crew, managers, and corporate standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, delivering fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned department systems (Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, report results.
• Ensure crew and managers deliver great customer experience, sell promotions, train service procedures, keep front counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru organized.
• Maintain restaurant quality food, safety, cost control; train kitchen staff on production procedures.
• Hire qualified crew, train, schedule to meet sales and profit goals; recognize and motivate crew throughout tenure.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail or hospitality.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule, passion for fast‑paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned restaurants.
