Hourly Salary: $22.10 – $25.75
Responsibilities
Department Manager – Heart of House (HOH)
- Oversee all food/product matters, staffing, and development of HOH team members.
- Maintain a safe environment and improve profitability through revenue and labor management.
- Assist the General Manager in overall restaurant operations, overseeing shift‑by‑shift fulfillment.
Department Manager – Bar
- Supervise bar operations, manage adult beverage matters, inventory control, and compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service.
- Plan, hire, train, and motivate bartenders and bar servers.
- Ensure bar cost tools are utilized and maintain inventory levels.
Department Manager – Hospitality
- Oversee dining room service and hospitality team development.
- Coordinate with other managers for hiring decisions and team growth.
- Implement an incentive program to motivate team members.
General Department Manager Tasks
- Recruit, interview, hire, orient, train, and develop team members.
- Create and manage weekly schedules within labor budget.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct appraisals, and administer merit increases.
- Coordinate with support teams for training, compliance, and performance management.
- Administer guest complaint program and use Guest Experience Management (GEM) to improve satisfaction.
- Monitor equipment, handle invoices, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Create action plans to address operational issues and follow up with direct reports.
Quality Operations – HOH
- Ensure adherence to new food product roll‑outs and recipe consistency.
- Communicate vendor expectations and audit quality standards.
- Analyze performance tools (GEM, QSCs, audits, P&L) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Quality Operations – Bar
- Track bar cost tools and maintain inventory of all alcohol products.
- Analyze performance tools and implement action plans for bartenders and bar servers.
Sales & Profit Responsibilities
- Manage food and beverage costs, labor results, and maintain inventory levels.
- Set projections, analyze P&L statements, and develop corrective action plans.
- Use incentive contests to drive sales and reduce waste, comps, and discounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience.
- Experience managing a full‑bar restaurant preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license.
- Completion of the Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly; satisfactory background check.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
- Self‑directed, results‑driven with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends.
- Passion for a fast‑paced environment, team focus, and commitment to creating a fun, exciting workplace.
