Responsibilities

  • Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments.
  • Department Manager responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems (Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management), setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results.
  • The Guest Service Department Manager ensures crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, manages sales promotions, trains staff on service procedures, and keeps the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas organized.
  • The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality, fast food; maintains food safety, cost control, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures and new menu items.
  • The People Department Manager hires qualified crew, trains them, schedules for sales and profit goals, and motivates staff.

Qualifications

  • Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive team player with a flexible schedule, fun attitude, and passion for working in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate‑owned restaurant.
