Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Maintain accurate and compliant dental and patient records using EMR systems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Support and mentor dental staff through training and continuing education.
- Participate in administrative activities such as strategic planning, compliance reviews, and clinic committees.
- Represent the dental program in outreach and community engagement efforts.
- Uphold professional ethics and promote a positive and respectful clinic culture.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited dental school (DDS or DMD).
- Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of Missouri.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active DEA and Missouri BNDD registrations.
- Proficient with EMR systems and office software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with patients, staff, and community partners.
- Commitment to providing quality care in a community health setting.
- Understanding of public health principles and socioeconomic factors affecting access to care.
