Job Overview

Location: Sherman, TX.

Position: Associate Dentist – a role focused on providing dental services to children and adults in a community setting. The majority of patients are children (70%+ ages 3‑21).

Responsibilities

Associate dentists are responsible for providing dental services to patients with the support of their team.

• Treat operative patients (average 10‑12 per day)
• Provide hygiene care to 20‑25 patients daily
• Conduct diagnostic work, treatment planning, and performing restorative and preventive procedures
• Use DentaPro software, digital X‑ray, Panorex units, and fiber‑optic handpieces
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and emergency management training requirements
• Participate in team huddles, mentorship, and community outreach activities

• Team composition: 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Current, valid license to practice in the state(s) of service (eligible for licensure elsewhere)
• CPR, DEA certification, and nitrous oxide certification (for LA, MS, DC, TX, MA) as required
• Strong desire to provide dental care to children and adults
