Role Overview
An Associate Dentist provides high-quality dental care to patients, primarily children and young adults, in a compassionate and team-oriented environment. They support the community, promote a positive image, and participate in team activities such as morning huddles and patient care planning.
Responsibilities Include
- Delivering dental services supported by advanced tools like digital x-ray, Panorex, and fiber-optic handpieces.
- Collaborating with a team comprising hygienists, assistants, and office staff.
- Providing comprehensive care to a patient base aged 3-21, with some adult patients.
- Adhering to OSHA, HIPAA, and emergency management protocols.
- Engaging in community activities to enhance the practice's reputation.
Qualifications And Skills
- DDS/DMD from an accredited program.
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure in relevant states.
- Certifications such as CPR, DEA, and Nitrous Oxide (where applicable).
- Compassionate attitude and enthusiasm for treating children and adults.
