Job Title: Contract Dentist – Correctional Healthcare | Premium Compensation

Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed and clinical-focused Dentist to fulfill a 26-week contract engagement at a state correctional facility located in Prairie du Chien, WI . This position provides an exceptional opportunity to practice pure dentistry in a structured, highly secure, and collaborative environment.
Compensation Options

- Independent Contractor (1099 Option): $200.00 per hour
- W-2 Employee (W-4 Option): $155.00 per hour
- Travel Compensation: Customized travel and lodging packages are available for qualifying non-local candidates.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- Hours: 24 hours per week (Three 8-hour day shifts).
- Availability: Daytime hours only.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations, diagnostic screenings, and treatment planning for the patient population.
- Deliver primary dental care services, including operative restorations, extractions, endodontic therapy (root canals), and preventative care.
- Collaborate effectively with the on-site multidisciplinary healthcare team, including dedicated dental assistants, nursing staff, and medical providers.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records (EHR) in strict compliance with state regulations and institutional safety policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin (or eligibility to obtain via reciprocity).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.
- Ability to successfully clear a comprehensive state background check and facility security vetting.
- Excellent clinical judgment, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a commitment to delivering objective, high-quality patient care.
