Qualifications

  • Completion of a Dental Medicine degree from an accredited University
  • Current and unrestricted New York State dental license to practice
  • At least one (1) year of experience working as a staff Dentist
  • Current DEA registration
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures and protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in electronic health records systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver general dentistry, diagnostic, preventive, and restorative services to patients
  • Refer patients to appropriate healthcare providers for additional evaluation or support when necessary
  • Maintain thorough patient care records, including medications, allergies, data, assessments, and treatment plans
  • Oversee dental care quality standards through Quality Assurance and Peer Review Audits
  • Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plans, and expected outcomes
  • Address patient inquiries promptly and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in a respectful manner
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and carry out other relevant duties as needed

Compensation

$76.92/hr.

Schedule & Work Hours

Per-diem (up to 19 hours per week)
Specific days and hours can be coordinated based on clinic operational needs and candidates' availability.
