Part‑Time Traveling Associate Dentist (Norfolk/Portsmouth)

We are actively seeking a Part‑Time Traveling Associate Dentist to join our growing team. You will support our mission to provide excellent dental care in the community and help us create smiles for children and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dental services to patients with the support of a team.
• Participate in outreach and community promotion activities.
• Attend morning huddles, plan your day, and collaborate with team members.
• Work with a patient base largely of children (70%+ of patients).

Practice Resources and Environment:

• DentaPro software.
• Digital x‑ray and Panorex units.
• Fiber‑optic handpieces.
• Yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training.
• Staff ratio: 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, 2 dental assistants per provider.
• Patient base: primarily ages 3‑21, up to 30% adults.
• Flow: average 10‑12 operative patients and 20‑25 hygiene patients per day.
• Insurance mix: state insurance plans, PPO, and out‑of‑network payors.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Guaranteed base pay of $900 per day with uncapped earning potential.

Qualifications:

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental program.
• Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the eligible states.
• Certifications: CPR, DEA, etc.; Nitrous Oxide certification (states: LA, MS, DC, TX, MA).
• Compassion and strong desire to care for children and adults.
