Overview

Horizon Health is seeking a full-time or part-time Dentist in any Horizon location to be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the patient’s oral health care, appropriate preventative and emergent services and providing oral health education. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications

Successful candidates must be licensed or able to obtain licensure by the State of South Dakota.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosing through oral examination with aid of dental radiographs, prescribing medication as deemed necessary, performing surgical procedures and monitoring growth and development of hard and soft tissues.
• Performing appropriate preventative and emergent measures and providing oral hygiene instruction and dietary instruction.
• Providing oral health management, education and appropriate individual counseling for all dental clinic patients.
• Integrating appropriate patient oral health care with other health care professionals involved in the patient’s health care management.
