Responsibilities
- Provide and manage direct dental patient care, including oral examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified population in a correctional healthcare/dental setting
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed oral conditions
- Manage the daily operations of the dental clinic at the facility
- Participate and direct health promotion, education and/or prevention programs for inmates and provides in-service training for health staff members
Qualifications
- Current state license as DMD/DDS
- Current DEA
- Current CPR certificate
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
