Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $580-$620
• Location: Remote (based in Austin, TX 78702) - remote dental job / tele-dentistry position

• Shift Duration: 5 hours per shift

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active Dental License in the U.S.; multiple state licenses preferred (facilitates tele-dentistry across states)
• Clinical background in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, or Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a plus
• Interest or experience in functional medicine and oral-to-gut (oral-systemic) health highly desirable
• Comfortable with asynchronous chart review, dental telehealth workflows, and EMR platforms
• Ability to review and assess medical history, diagnosis, and product suitability for remote patients

Responsibilities

• Perform asynchronous review of patient charts and provide evidence-based recommendations for dental products and services (tele-dentistry chart review)
• Assess medical history, dental diagnosis, and product suitability to support remote treatment planning
• Write letters of medical necessity to support patient access to products via HSA/FSA and insurance when applicable
• Use EMR platform for chart review, documentation, and patient messaging as needed
• Sign off on documentation to confirm medical necessity and ensure compliance
• Maintain accurate records of chart reviews, recommendations, and clinical rationale
