Overview

We are a mission‑driven Federally Qualified Health Center serving Sacramento County. We seek a full‑time Dentist (DDS/DMD) to provide general dentistry care to pediatric and adult patients. The position offers work‑life balance with no weekends, and no production quotas or complex procedures.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (4‑day or 5‑day workweek; 32 or 40 hours)
• Must be available on Mondays and Fridays

Compensation

• Base salary: $179,100/year
• Up to $25,000/year NHSC loan repayment
• 25% 401(k) employer match
• Medical, dental, vision with employer‑funded HSA‑style card (~$5K+)
• FTCA malpractice coverage at no cost
• PTO: 16–20 days + 11 holidays + 6 sick days
• $4,000 annual CE stipend + 3 paid CE days
• Combined value: $210K+ in total compensation

What You’ll Do

• Provide general dentistry care, including exams, preventive care, and routine procedures
• See approximately 20 patients per day
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment plans
• Collaborate with dental assistants and clinic staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC (training provided)

What You Won’t Do

• No root canals or surgical extractions (referred out)
• No production pressure or corporate quotas
• No weekends or late nights

Qualifications

• Active California DDS or DMD license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages
• Strong communication and patient‑centered care approach
• Ability to work across multiple clinic sites
