Summary

The Racing Industry Charitable Foundation, Inc. (ricfinc.net) is currently seeking a qualified General Dentist to deliver dental care within a comfortable clinical environment, primarily serving adult patients. The RICF is a non-profit organization addressing the wellness needs of a specialized agricultural workforce.

The Dentist shall be responsible for providing corrective and preventive dental services, as well as basic oral health care.

Responsibilities:

Provide examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection

Diagnose and treat dental problems, including extractions and restorations

Perform dental care treatments including X-rays, simple cleanings, fillings, simple extractions, full and partial dentures, partial plates, crown and bridge work

Consult with other dental specialists when necessary

Provide education to patients on oral hygiene

Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA-accredited dental school is required

Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry

Current state license (Illinois)

Previous experience in clinical or private practice

Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends

Excellent bedside manner

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Spanish-speaking is a plus but not necessary

Schedule: 12 hours per month.
