JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Graduation from an accredited dental school
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required
- Experience: Dental experience in community health or private practice
- Other Qualifications: Strong clinical, interpersonal, and written communication skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Examine, diagnose, and treat dental and oral conditions
- Provide preventive and restorative dental services
- Perform fillings, extractions, prophylaxis, SRP, and denture-related procedures
- Refer patients for specialty consultation and treatment when appropriate
- Maintain complete and accurate dental records
- Accurately code dental services for clinical and payer compliance
- Educate patients regarding oral health and disease prevention
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities
- Collaborate with Medical and Behavioral Health divisions
- Participate in staff training, community outreach, and health education activities
