We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX DH Baker Dental Laboratory in Traverse City, MI.The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentistScan model work into 3shape System following standard operating proceduresInsure all steps are followed to insure consistent, accurate resultsVerify Scan is correct and materials have been entered correctlyRead and review all paperwork on each case for correct informationPre-stain units following SOP directionsAs abilities progress, may include introduction to designing of productsAll other duties as assignedSkills and Abilities Required:Strong computer skillsExcellent hand-eye coordinationStrong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructionsHigh level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workMust be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to work cooperatively with coworkers and managersMulti-task orientedEducation, Training and Skills required:Preferred: High school diploma or equivalentMust be computer literateHazardous Material or Equipment Used:Computer and scanning equipmentAdditional related materials or equipment, as requiredPersonal protective equipment, as requiredPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 poundsRegularly required to sit, stand, walk and or reachFine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motionsVision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail and colorQualificationsBehaviors:RequiredTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityEducation:Preferred High School or Equivalent or better.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
