Insurance Verification SpecialistWe're looking for an experienced Insurance Verification Specialist to join a growing U.S.-based healthcare practice.If you have hands-on experience verifying commercial insurance, completing detailed benefit breakdowns, and navigating payer portals, we'd love to hear from you.You will handle approximately 20 insurance verifications per day, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and HIPAA compliance.What You'll DoVerify commercial insurance eligibility and benefitsContact U.S. insurance carriers via phoneNavigate insurance payer portalsComplete detailed benefit breakdowns (deductibles, copays, coinsurance, etc.)Confirm in-network and out-of-network coverageIdentify prior authorization requirementsDocument verification notes accurately in EMR systemsPrioritize verifications based on upcoming appointmentsCommunicate coverage concerns with the healthcare teamMaintain strict HIPAA and PHI complianceWhat We're Looking For2+ years of U.S. healthcare or dental insurance verification experienceActive HIPAA Certification (or completed HIPAA training)Strong knowledge of insurance benefits and terminologyExperience with commercial insurance plansComfortable making outbound calls to U.S.
