You'll ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and excellent communication with patients and insurance providers.This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of dental billing systems for specialty dentistry, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and administrative teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSubmit, track, and follow up on dental insurance claimsPost insurance and patient payments accurately and timelyReview accounts receivable and aging reports to ensure collections are up to dateAudit patient accounts and resolve billing discrepancies or claim denialsVerify insurance eligibility and benefitsManage electronic claim submissions and resolve claim errorsUpdate fee schedules and insurance information as neededCommunicate with patients and families regarding billing questions and financial responsibilitiesCollaborate with front office and clinical teams to ensure accurate treatment coding and documentationAssist with reporting, reconciliation, and other billing-related tasks assigned by managementWhat We're Looking ForMandatory 2 years of dental billing experienceStrong knowledge of HMO & Medi-Cal Dental billing, pre-authorizations, NOAs, CIFs.Experience working with dental practice management software (Dentrix Ascend preferred)Strong understanding of insurance billing and collections processesSkillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environmentProfessional communication and customer service skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitudeProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)ScheduleFull-timeMonday–FridayOccasional Saturdays may be required based on office needsReady to Make a Difference?If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can grow your career while helping children achieve healthy, happy smiles, we encourage you to apply today!Join a team that values compassion, teamwork, and excellence — one smile at a time.
