Full-time Requirements
Experience: Minimum of one year of proven experience as a practicing dental assistant.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent; graduation from an accredited dental assistant school is highly preferred.
Licensure/Credentials: EFDA Certification (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) is highly asset-rich and strongly preferred.
Clinical Skills: Strong baseline knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and strict health & safety regulations. Regulated non-surgical skills (such as coronal polishing) are a major plus!
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, sharp attention to detail, strong computer literacy, and an exceptionally reliable, structured work ethic. Job Description
Chairside Synergy: Assist the dentist utilizing expert four-handed dentistry techniques across a variety of family dental procedures.
Patient Comfort: Warmly welcome patients into the clinical area, prepare them for treatments or checkups, and provide compassionate care to alleviate any dental anxiety.
Clinical Preparation: Select, organize, and set up the precise instruments, equipment, and materials needed for each unique procedure.
Sterilization & Safety: Strictly adhere to healthcare regulations to sterilize instruments, sanitize operatory rooms, and keep the dental environment pristine and well-stocked.
Lab & Preventive Care: Undertake specific laboratory tasks as instructed, and educate patients with clear oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. xawqmyg
Front Office Support: Maintain accurate patient health records, schedule follow-up appointments, and confidently assist with payment or checkout procedures using standard computer software. Benefits
