Their duties include managing schedules, completing intake paperwork and updating patient records, sterilizing and organizing dental tools and assisting during dental procedures.Duties include, but are not limited to:Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures using standard 4 handed dentistry; including setting up and cleaning upTaking radiographs, impressions, and other diagnostic needsHelp patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatmentProvide patients with post-operative instructions after proceduresManagement of doctors' scheduleOperatory room inventoryMaintenance of dental equipmentProvide optimal patient care including care callsOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications and SkillsH.S. Diploma or Equivalent4 handed dentistry dental assisting experienceIn-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA)Open to being cross trained with both general dentistry and dental specialty (Endo, Perio, OS, Ortho and Pedo)Stamina to meet the physical demand of the jobWilling to serve the Practice with a flexible schedulePreferred Qualifications and SkillsExperience working with Dentrix or EagleSoft SoftwareAssociate's degreePhysical DemandsAbility to continuously sit, stand or walk for extended periodsAbility to wear a facemask for long durationsWork EnvironmentWork will be completed at a dental practice
