Job Description
Overview: Seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join a dental practice in Eustis, FL, assisting dentists and hygienists in delivering comprehensive patient care.
Clinical Assisting: Support dentists during examinations and clinical procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric care.
Infection Control: Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and operatories in compliance with strict aseptic and safety protocols.
Imaging & Records: Take and develop digital X-rays, record patient histories and vital signs accurately, and manage medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Patient Management: Assist with patient flow, schedule appointments in coordination with front-desk staff, and provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
