Apex Dentistry is looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Chester, Virginia!

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Dental experience is a plus, but we are absolutely willing to train the right person! If you are eager to learn, hardworking, and excited to grow in the dental field, we encourage you to apply.

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Help patients feel comfortable and welcome throughout their visits.
• Take dental X-rays as permitted by applicable Virginia requirements and credentials.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation.
• Support the dental team with daily office operations and patient flow.
• Work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, and front desk staff to ensure excellent patient care.
  

• Dental assisting experience is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and receive training on the job.
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well with a team.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are a plus!
• Any required Virginia credentials or certifications must be obtained and maintained as applicable to assigned duties.
