Deputy Campaign Services DirectorThe Democratic Attorneys General Association provides political and policy support to Democratic State Attorneys General and candidates in their mission to protect citizens, promote progress, and support civil rights.Title: Deputy Campaign Services DirectorReports To: Director of Campaigns ServicesSalary Range: $90,000-$100,000Purpose: The Deputy Campaign Services Director is responsible for implementing DAGA's political strategy and manages relationships with Attorneys General and candidates. The Deputy Director works closely with the Director of Campaigns Services to provide necessary support to campaigns. The Deputy Campaign Services Director will be responsible for managing relationships for a set of states out of the 30+ up in 2026.The Deputy Campaign Services Director position requires a high level of proven leadership and judgment and must demonstrate knowledge of principal and campaign management.

Experience in Organizing or Fundraising is preferred. Additionally, they must have the capacity to work independently with elected leaders and staff in complex political situations.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Attorneys General, declared candidates, prospective candidates, and their senior teamsTravel to target states as needed to assess campaign infrastructure and provide strategic guidance to strengthen operationsEstablish and monitor fundraising benchmarks to ensure campaign accountability, proactively addressing shortfalls and identifying opportunities for growthLead recruitment efforts in target states, including interviewing, hiring, and placing key campaign staffCollaborate with in-state partners and state party leadership to ensure Attorneys General are fully integrated and effectively represented in coordinated effortsProject manage cross-departmental support for campaigns, clearly communicating priorities and deliverables across DAGA teamsCollect, synthesize, and distribute relevant campaign intelligence to DAGA leadership and key stakeholdersOversee candidate schedule at DAGA conferences, and prepare detailed memos and strategic briefings for candidatesPrepare and submit regular reports to the Campaign Services Director outlining campaign progress, risks, and support needsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree2-3 cycles of campaign experience with at least one cycle directly managing a principalKnowledge building a strong fundraising or field program is a plusExperience managing and building fundraising operations on political or advocacy campaignsExperience successfully managing and advising staff and principalsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience drafting strategic documents and tracking documents or spreadsheetsAbility to independently operate in the field with state leadership, staff, and local constituenciesAbility to manage multiple programs and priorities across statesAn outside of the box thinker with a good sense of humor and a positive attitudeDetails:DC-based preferred, open to remote work for the right candidateAbility to travel when neededApplication Requirements:Please submit a resume and cover letterAdditional Information:DAGA's office is open 9 AM – 6 PM Eastern, but extended and nontraditional work hours are required.DAGA offices are in downtown DCDAGA offers a generous benefits package that includes fully paid health, dental, vision, short-term, long-term, and life insurance policies, pretax spending accounts, monthly remote work stipend, or monthly transit benefitsDAGA values a diverse workforce and is committed to a culture of inclusivity, respect, and integrity.DAGA is an equal opportunity employer, and it is our policy to recruit, hire, train, promote and administer any and all personnel actions based on business needs, job requirements, and individual qualifications without regard to race; color; religion; national origin; sex; age; marital status; personal appearance; sexual orientation; gender identity or expression; family responsibilities; disability; genetic information; credit information; status as a victim or family member of a victim of domestic violence, a sexual offense, or stalking.
