We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to support forecasting, inventory planning, and S&OP activities within a manufacturing and distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with demand forecasting, ERP planning systems, and S&OP , with SAP IBP/APO experience strongly preferred. This role is suited for a true Demand Planner rather than a general Supply Chain Analyst. Analyze historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and customer inputs. Execute demand planning activities within ERP systems and maintain accurate planning data. Participate in S&OP / Integrated Business Planning and develop consensus demand plans. Monitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias, inventory levels, and supply chain KPIs . Partner with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, and Distribution teams to align demand and supply. Maintain planning parameters including safety stock, reorder points, and lead times . 5+ years of Demand Planning / Supply Chain Planning experience , preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
Experience with SAP IBP, SAP APO, ECC, or S/4HANA ; SAP IBP/APO strongly preferred.
Experience with S&OP / Integrated Business Planning .
Strong knowledge of Inventory Planning and Supply Chain Planning .
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
Understanding of Manufacturing and Distribution processes.
