Demand Planning Manager – Honeywell Aerospace
As a Demand Planning Manager, you will drive the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, lead a team of demand planners, and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, efficient inventory management, and alignment with financial and supply‑chain objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SIOP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial goals.
- Develop and inspire the demand planning function, exceeding forecast accuracy targets.
- Manage a team of demand planners, providing leadership, guidance, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyze data, market trends, and customer insights.
- Identify demand risks, build contingency plans, and oversee SIOP planning and process improvements.
- Create, maintain, and analyze sales forecasts and production plans at the account level globally.
- Conduct formal forecast reviews with Global Sales and Business units to measure and improve forecast accuracy.
- Design and implement supply‑chain optimization projects.
- Collaborate on the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning Process (STRAP).
- Process data, identify problematic areas, and consolidate opportunities into a single forecast for supply‑chain action.
- Track KPIs and publish performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Present demand forecasts to leadership at monthly meetings.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
U.S. Person Requirements
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, the candidate must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or protected status in the U.S.) or be able to obtain export authorization.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of planning, materials, sourcing, or related supply‑chain experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of the SIOP process, including cross‑functional alignment and delivery of performance outcomes.
- Experience managing complex data analysis.
- Strong process orientation and planning expertise.
- Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel.
Desired Credentials and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team toward common goals.
- Experience with ERP systems and demand‑planning tools (e.g., RapidResponse, SAP APO, Forecast Pro).
- Certification in supply‑chain management (APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF).
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
