Delivery Driver

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport products to customers' locations.

Navigate efficiently through Pittsburgh and surrounding areas using GPS and maps.

Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling of products.

Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately.

Verify order accuracy before leaving for delivery and upon arrival at the customer's location.

Maintain a clean and well-organized delivery vehicle.

Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.

Assist with additional tasks in-store during non-delivery hours, such as restocking and cleaning.

Adapt to changing weather conditions and delivery schedules.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

Strong navigation abilities using both GPS and traditional maps.

Physical capability to lift and carry products up to 50 pounds.

Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.

Proficiency in using smartphones and delivery apps.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.

Resilience and adaptability to work in various weather conditions.

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Previous delivery or customer service experience (preferred).

Depth perception.

Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments: The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements including, but not limited to the following:

Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, a Team Member may make several deliveries per shift.

Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.

Walking: For short distances for short durations.

Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck.

Carrying: Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves.

Pushing: To move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24-30 and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.

Climbing: Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.

Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station.

Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.

Reaching: Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.

Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous during the day.
