VNJ Logistics Inc. is looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our growing team in Monroe, NC! Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages or freight to residential and commercial locations
* Follow optimized delivery routes and adjust as needed for efficiency and timeliness
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
* Verify delivery manifests and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
* Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate updates to dispatch
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
* Provide courteous, professional customer service at every stop
Requirements:
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Previous delivery driving or logistics experience preferred
* Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
* Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
* Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning tools
* Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with minimal supervision
* Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
