Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license required Clean driving record preferred Ability to follow safety procedures and delivery documentation requirements
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of delivery driving, warehouse, or material handling experience required Experience loading and unloading products Forklift experience preferred Experience operating pallet jacks, dollies, and warehouse equipment Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Job Duties
Deliver products to customer job sites, businesses, and residential locations Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently Verify orders for accuracy before deliveries Obtain delivery signatures and maintain manifests, logs, and shipping documentation Provide professional customer service as a company representative Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment Pick and pack warehouse orders Stock inventory and organize warehouse materials Stage will-call and customer pickup orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and warehouse areas Follow all company safety policies and DOT guidelines for non-CDL drivers
Physical Capabilities
Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 60 pounds Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day Ability to safely load and unload products weighing between 50 and 100 pounds
