Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery, set up and pick up of all equipment in a timely and safe manner. Must be able to load/unload equipment and ensure the proper equipment is delivered at each location. This Driver will travel about 85% of the time and will be home each evening.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 1 or more years of box truck driving experience preferred
  • Other: Clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Delivery and set-up of equipment to new and existing customer sites
  • Move equipment up and down stairs using a dolly at customer locations
  • Install and remove accessories on equipment at customer locations
  • Verify paperwork, equipment, serial numbers and ID tags are accurate and complete
  • Contact Sales Representatives and customers when in route to delivery
  • Deliver and pick up equipment to other GFI Branch locations weekly
  • Load/unload truck during weekly, scheduled deliveries
  • Check-in equipment and ready/notate equipment transferring back to and from other branches
  • Track and monitor all parts, supplies and serialized/non-serialized equipment delivered to the warehouse
  • Set up equipment at customer sites which includes toner and developer when needed
  • Address any delivery issues with Sales Administrator and make note of such issues in the comment section of R&A
  • Monitor and return leased equipment
  • Prepare transfers for equipment weekly
  • Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery truck
  • Keep warehouse neat and swept
  • Address all customer issues quickly, professionally and without bias
  • Assist Sales Teams with customer issues as needed
  • Willing to work overtime when needed to ensure deliveries are completed
  • Other tasks as assigned
