Position Overview
The Delivery Driver & Installer is responsible for safely transporting furniture, executing professional on site installations, and ensuring every client receives a smooth, positive delivery experience. This role requires physical strength, problem solving, and a customer service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load, transport, and unload furniture using company vehicles
Install furniture on-site according to specifications (assembly, placement, leveling, adjustments)
Protect all items during transport using pads, straps, blankets, and proper packing methods
Communicate professionally with clients, building staff, and internal team
Inspect delivered items for quality and accuracy before leaving the warehouse
Document deliveries, installations, and any issues encountered
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles
Follow all safety protocols, driving regulations, and installation procedures
Assist warehouse team with staging, wrapping, and preparation when needed
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
Prior experience in furniture delivery, installation, moving, or related field
Ability to lift 75 100 lbs repeatedly
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment
Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
