Defined Benefit Team Leader

Leading a team of actuaries and DB specialists, the full-time Defined Benefit Team Leader will manage team performance, staff development, and client service quality while working remotely and supporting continuous improvement in defined benefit and combo plan services. Key responsibilities: Manage a team of 10-15 actuaries and DB specialists, overseeing service quality and performance metrics Develop team members through coaching, training, and performance reviews while modeling strong leadership Serve as an escalation point for complex service issues and coordinate client special projects to ensure timely deliverables Required qualifications: 10+ years of retirement plan industry experience, with a focus on defined benefit plans 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in the retirement plan field Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include actuarial science, mathematics, finance, or business Strong knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, and nondiscrimination testing requirements Relevant retirement plan credentials preferred, such as NIPA, ASPPA, EA, or ASA
